My suggestion is if you have the money go for the Arc, it will provide a better L/R separation. But if your budget is limited but still want similar features with slightly inferior performance then the Beam Gen 2 is sufficient. You can later expand your setup with the One speakers and the Sub.Both are stellar soundbars! To me they sound pretty similar overall, the arc maybe has a bit better Atmos performance but the soundstage and surround effects are equal. I prefer the vocals of the Multibeam 1100, just sounds more natural. It's pretty much a tie when it comes to overall volume but the Multibeam 1100 has a bit more bass on its own ....
