The Jason model 151 was made by J-B146, and then there is also the same model (151) that was made by J-B22. Probably during different timeframes. For whatever reason, J-B22 chose to use Bk7 prisms, while J-B146 chose to use BaK4 prisms. I think the Bushnell Powerview is a decent bino for the money. I purchased a pair of 7x35s about 15 years ago; they're still going strong. The 12x should give you a slight boost in performance, but would be a little less steady than your 10x Jasons.
